2021 Winter Yuuki Scrimmage at Shoshinkan Martial Arts

A great double event last December 18th, 2021 at Shoshinkan Martial Arts. An IJF Referees clinic conducted by former USJA President and active National Referee Gary Goltz. Over a dozen participants to the referees clinic with successful validation of six Regional referees and 3 local referees.

Validation of the class in the morning was made in the afternoon during a scrimmage between local and interstate clubs, over five clubs from Nevada and also California and Arizona. A very interesting scrimmage as it was not just focusing on IJF rules of Judo which is about tachi waza and nage waza. We also offered Kosen rules Judo which is about Ne waza. A great preparation to our upcoming Annual National Kosen Judo Tournament in Las Vegas, March 26th, 2022 organized by Shoshinkan Martial Arts in fabulous Las Vegas.
